Conferences, debates and public speaking events were always fascinating to me and fun to participate in. Experiences like these have helped me gain confidence and be more comfortable with being uncomfortable. I have some experience in debating so I will do my best as a chair to make this meeting a memorable and fruitful experience we can always reminisce about. I'm indeed excited for it. See you soon! |

Amira JaquesHello
I am a Senior from GWA, and have been participating in MUN and debate related events for a few years now. I absolutely love conferences like these as debating and talking with others from local/international schools gives me an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and to listen to other people’s stances on such relevant political topics. In the past, I have participated a few times as a delegate, along with being ambassador once, but this year I have been given the opportunity to chair, which I am really excited about. ENVIRONMENTAL
Impact of Masks on Textile Wastes
Chairs: Malak Benchekroun and Omar El Oujaji
Malak BenchekrouneDear MUN volunteers,
Hello, my name is Malak Benchekroune. I am overjoyed and honoured to be part of 2022’s MUN conference. Since middle school, MUN has just been part of something I cant miss out. MUN has aided me to develop my skills and face to face discussions even with people I don’t know. It has and still is an experience that has taught me a lot including how to accept different ideas of different people and how to communicate correctly. In addition, MUN helps and specifically helped me develop leadership skills and has educated me about several world issues I’ve never heard about. Last but not least, MUN conferences have shown and taught me how everything can be managed and changed step by step only if we all communicate and most specifically work as a whole. |
Omar El OujajiMy name is Omar El Oujaji .I am a sophmore at Moulay Rachid's highschool.I am overly thrilled to be part of this year's TMUN and honored to be the chair of the enviromental committee .I believe acknowledging world issues and sharing perspectives about national and international struggles is the key to a brighter future where solutions overthrow problems and for that sole reason I am looking forward to this year's conference.

UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL
Lockdown and Essential Services
Chairs: Salma Bennani and Elrali Skalli
Salma Bennani MUN is a fast-growing competitive activity for many students, but to a great deal of us, it means so much more. Whether it’s a confidence booster, or a chance to voice your political opinion, MUN holds opportunities for everyone. In my case, MUN has been the first step in my path towards becoming an expert in foreign relations and political science. With that being said, I’m honored to chair this year’s Security Council committee and I’m looking forward to a conference filled with fruitful, intellectual debate. Hope to see you all there.

Chairs: Maryam Jaebak and Saad El Ouazzani
Maryam JaebakMy name is Maryam Jaebak, I’m a student at AST, and I will be co-chair of the WHO committee in this year’s MUN. My first experiences with MUN were with my school’s middle school MUN conferences, where I participated in one of them as a delegate and in the next as the deputy secretary general. Unfortunately, I couldn’t participate in the 2019 TMUN conference because I was still in middle school at the time, but I attended as a staff member so I learned a lot about the way the conferences operate. |
