President of ICJ: Sumin Lee

Respected Model United Nations members,

With no doubt, I can guarantee that the TMUN in 2021 was one of the best experiences I could ever have. Throughout the valuable memory, I learned that I was a person who could speak up for the truth, the people, and justice. To represent a country as an ambassador in ICJ was an unrivaled and marvelous opportunity, and the passionate debate in the court made me eager for the TMUN in 2022, igniting my devotion to lead the debate as a chair. I appreciate the opportunity to stand as the President of ICJ, and I would devote myself for the successful debate in the court. See you very soon!

Vice-President of ICJ: Saad El Ouazzani

Greetings ICJ advocates,

Over time, my enthusiasm for TMUN has risen significantly. It has assisted me in becoming more outgoing and less of an introvert. First, I had the pleasure of serving as staff, which was pleasant. Later, I had the privilege of serving as a delegate, ambassador, chair, and coordinator, all of which, I must admit, were unique opportunities. I am honored and grateful to be able to announce that I will be taking on the role of Vice-President of ICJ this year. I'll be able to dedicate a lot of my time trying to make sure the International court of justice operates as smoothly as possible this year. I am really happy to meet you all!

My name is Maryam Jaebak, I study at AST, and I will be co-chairing the ECOSOC committee this year. I’ve been participating in MUN for several years now, and let me tell you from experience that it’s always a fun event regardless of your position. Although it can be intimidating to speak in front of large groups of people, especially when the audience is just waiting to tell you that you’re wrong, it’s incredibly rewarding and definitely worth stepping out of your comfort zone for. I’m hoping this year’s MUN will be full of fruitful debate and memorable times.
